So after the last absolutely mental week or so, I've finally got a chance to catch up about Easter, and some of the latest news.
Last weekend was Easter weekend and while I worked for most of it, I definitely got the chance to enjoy Easter Sunday with the family. For one, it was nice to just have a lie-in and not have to get up to the sound of an alarm clock at the crack of dawn!
Being a lover of chocolate, I have always loved Easter for the eggs. Lets be honest, who doesn't?! My gran kept her great tradition of buying me an amazing chocolate Easter bunny (even at my age I can't refuse) while I bought a pack of those creme egg boxes – note to self: if you try to eat more than one creme egg in one go, you will inevitably feel sick. Think I'll attempt that mission again next year.
My parents woke me up on Easter Sunday morning with a couple of gorgeous gifts too – which I really wasn't expecting. They'd bought me this cute jewellery box by the brand Lola Rose (as I've got quite a collection of her jewellery now) to store that all safely, and it came with a cute little pink bracelet too.
I also got a surprisingly bag from Dior with a bottle of my favourite perfume by them, Miss Dior Eau de Parfum. PERFECT timing as mine is just about to run out. My parents always give me the most thoughtful, great gifts whether its things I can use or wear which is so nice and I'm always grateful to them.
I then spent the early part of the afternoon having a lazy Sunday watching the Girls Aloud Ten Tour show on MTV – and having attended the show, I can absolutely vouch that it was a good one!
Overall it was just nice to have a chilled day off and not have to worry about work or anything, and just have a chance to enjoy family dinner without having to rush off anywhere.
Hope everyone had a chance to celebrate Easter Sunday with their families and friends! And let's not forget, lots of chocolate! I still can't get over how quick it came and went. Now next on the agenda for this year is (hopefully) summer, festival season and holidays! Can. Not. Wait!
