Did anyone watch that TV show, The Golden Girls growing up? Not sure if that is showing my age, but that was always the weekly weekend television viewing in my household during my younger years (and again on Sky when they start to rerun the seasons).
Betty White was such a great character – and my personal favourite – so when I came across this funny yet true till image of her and this phrase on the internet, I just HAD to blog it!
Having used the terms, “Grow a pair” and “Man up” an uncountable amount of times in a variety of situations, when I actually thought about this little phrase said by Betty White, it actually does make a lot of real sense.
I won’t go into detail about this – partly because I just saw it and liked/agreed with this, and going into detail will pretty much destroy any amusement I got from it, but you’ve got to hand it to Betty for metaphorically hitting the nail on the head (no pun intended).
