Let's start catching up

So it's been just over three weeks since I last blogged – totally didn't realise how much time had passed. I'll have a look at some of the Paris shows and post a couple of reviews a little later (thankfully I have a week off work so I've got some extra time on my hands right now).

It's great to see some of my friends are now getting on the blogging train after we've spoken about it for a while and finally time-wise, they're able to do it. Not to mention they've also got wordpress (and not tumblr or blogspot which seem to be the “go-to” blogging sites). Once I have their permission – not so much to let me post the addresses, but they're happy with the way their blogs are forming – I'll start promoting those.

In the past few weeks, I've started attending more gigs/concerts – something I really have missed, had catch-ups with friends, made new ones, begun watching more USA TV shows and started thinking about the summer. I've already bought holiday clothes without a plane ticket booked – but for me, going away is more a question of “when” rather than “if”. I already can't wait to get back to the States – I wish I was going tomorrow. You know the weather is well and truly messed up when it's still snowing in early March, you still own more summer clothes than winter ones and the shops are already selling swimwear. There's no consistent correlation anywhere, but the excitement of summer still gets me. All these things I'll start posting about this week to get you all up-to-date. One thing's for sure – for me, I guarantee that this summer is going to completely out-do the last in every way possible. This year has already kicked off with a bang (in a good way of course) so in the words of Gary Barlow of Take That: “Things can only get better.”
