With such a promising, large collection, Sportmax have completely outdone themselves for AW13. With prominent monochome and shades of blue dominating the entire line – this will become a great trans-seasonal line to take us through the end of the summer period right the way through the Autumn/Winter season.
High collars and creative outerwear with lots of layering proved to be the consistency throughout the looks. A mix of trouser suits and skirt suits (skirt suits proved very popular during Milan Fashion Week) were modernised with their boxy straight leg shapes, along with A-line fit skirts with sheer slits for a younger image. Cross body bags were the common theme of a lady's handbag for the season – deemed more for practicality as well as a finishing touch. Fur coats and box shape jackets with black leather lapels really gave this winter collection a wonderful stamp of smart individuality. The waist was even appreciated with a leather style belt. While casual, these looks can work for both day and night when accessorized with heels for a sophisticated finish.
