So January is almost over and while we haven’t had any snow this winter (YET – I’m still comfortably waiting for its arrival with my Canada Goose parka on standby) the new Spring/Summer ’14 season is slowly appearing on the high street.
Now I’m not usually too fond of flatforms – partly because some look like the sort of shoes you’d give to someone who needed height rather than for style. HOWEVER, for 2014 that might have all changed.
New designer on the block and latest winner of the Emerging Talent Award – Accessories at the British Fashion Awards 2013 – Sophia Webster has (for want of a better expression) nailed it with these gorgeous black suede and black, silver and lemon woven flatforms.
Named SUKI and priced at £295, they’ll definitely be an investment piece for vacations, holidays and summer days to come.
