Diane von Furstenberg (or DVF for short) always manages to push the boundaries while maintaining her brand's originality. This collection is no different.
With a common theme of suede and snakeskin textures mixed with other animal prints and patterns, these looks are all about the bold looking beautiful.
Each of these looks is not only flattering, but wearable off the catwalk. Fur gillets and oversized fur collars are incorporated for warmth during the Autumn/Winter seasons, while neutral tones are mixed with metallics and bold hues. A reappearance of the significant blue for the AW13 season is present in several shades across a few of the looks, especially layered with browns, while we also see the common theme of pink and red combined.
It's great to see another collection with a mix of both short and long length dresses as well as trousers to demonstrate such a versatile collection.
While DVF's latest offering might not be to everybody's cup of tea, I've always been a fan and continue to be impressed by her talents.
