Presented in New York Fashion Week.
Staying true to her young, classy yet fun and flirty brand's aesthetic, Kate Spade has really out done herself with this Fall 13 collection.
Mixing colour palates together that would in some cases be frowned upon, or considered a fashion faux pas, throughout this gorgeous collection we see mixes of pink and red hues, gold and black with a dash of purple.
These looks really remind me of a very hip Sex and the City vibe – perhaps even lightly entertaining a modern view on the 60s with the smarter tweed jackets, and an intro to the 80s with bright colours, polka dots, leopard print and big bouffants. A young Carrie Bradshaw would idolise this collection in its entirety. It's nice to see a fresh, somewhat casual selection of t-shirts included in a couple of these looks with simplistic illustrations – giving this AW13 design a new flavour.
As you'll see from a lot of my favourites I've chosen, I'm a huge fan of pink, polka dots and colour. I think these items will definitely become investment pieces – with bright clutch bags and prints which are continually reappearing as the seasons come and go.
Here are my favourites I've chosen from the entire 30 piece collection:
