So I've returned from what I can only describe as an A-MAZ-ING trip to Milan, Italy for my 25th birthday. A getaway was definitely what I needed and wanted for the occasion so I'm really glad it was able to happen.
Having almost got stuck in Milan for a while due to weather conditions (it snowed on the day I was due to come home, so the airport I was leaving from was closed), since I've been back I've literally just been catching up with errands and work that I've had to get done ASAP.
In the meantime, I've got a little post prepared which will be uploaded a little later. I'll write up a proper entry on the weekend about my birthday and the amazing hotel and places I got to see.
PS. For anyone who hasn't visited Milan already, I strongly recommend you do!
