Presented at Paris Fashion Week.
This collection seemed to be a collaborative of several colour-way collections in one. Pink, white, black, poppy floral design and lace. This ultimately created the Elie Saab SS14 catwalk show.
From skater skirts to straight/wide leg trousers, heels to perfect and accessorize each look and the female silhouette was defined with skinny waist belts and accentuated with the appearance of the long, toned legs of the models through thigh high slits of maxi skirts.
This was definitely a day-to-night type of collection, with all looks deemed to be suitable for each (although some would be day looks for those who want to dress up that bit more for the daytime).
The intricate details of the lace and florals really gave the simplistic designs a specific focus and edge, as the collection of looks went from strength to strength from beginning to end.
