Presented at London Fashion Week.
Firstly wow. I have always been a fan of Christopher Kane's quirky yet feminine style, but this collection pushes the boundaries. This has got to be one of the larger collections on show with 60 looks in total. Christopher Kane has always struck me as quite an experimental designer who enjoys adding applique and 3D floral details to his garments. This line is no different. With elements of a boxy finish at the earlier part to the collection with an inclusion of a camo (or camouflage) print, moving swiftly to 3D florals with a seemingly metal detail collar, along with a layering of material and creative graphics on t-shirts and dresses, these looks will surely stand out next season.
With a prominence of red and the infamous blue which is looking hot for AW13 as it is, along with the A-line shift dress, this collection looks to be very right among its competitors by bringing back the hint of a 60s vibe.
