Having looked at this 31 piece runway collection, I absolutely love it!
Black and white still play a very prominent colour scheme throughout – continuing the monochrome idea which is taking us through trans-seasonal and SS13, with some winter elements. Aside from the odd skirt, or long jumper style dress/tunic, trousers – particularly leather ones are really key to this collection.
Layering continues throughout, whether it be knitwear, fur gillets and coats – some with and without patterns, long sleeves – some even layered with short ones, as well as beanie hats to accessorize and keep warm.
Winter florals and digital prints also make an appearance, along with the added pop of colour which has carried through from SS13, including a cobalt blue and lime/neon yellow. It's great to see a bold blue take shape in this early presentation for the Fashion Week season, because I've had some sources tell me that blue is (or should appear to be) THE colour for A/W13. I'm sure we'll see how strong it is as the events progress. Main colours of this collection are a deep red/brown, black and white.
