I myself am a HUGE fan of Henry Holland’s work. The colours, the patterns along with the styles of clothing and accessories are great to look at and forever eye-catching in a crowd. So when I found this cheeky little high street copy, I was quite impressed by the similarity!
Pastels are a huge trend this Spring/Summer ’12 season, and it was plastered along the catwalks back in September 2011.
This gorgeous two contrasting coloured pastel shirt dress from Henry Holland really fits the bill. The python collar even adds an introduction to the animal/graphic print trend.
What’s a little sad about this dress however, is the price. At £375, it’s safe to say that only a select amount of people with a large wallet (or purse) can afford this beauty. But what there was a high street version waiting to be picked up and purchased at New Look?
While it may not have the exact same detailing – this two-tone dress is not even a quarter of the price and still holds the contrasting pastel quality along with a statement collar and belt detail. So for anyone anyone who can’t afford the real deal (at least just yet), it might be worth investing in this next best version instead.
Who said fashion had to cause bankruptcy?
