Presented at New York Fashion Week.
This has literally been THE talked about show of late, with Editors and celebs from all over tweeting and commenting on this being “the best so far this NYFW.”
Futuristic and structured are the words I'd use to describe this collection – which appears to have several mini collections within it. We begin with a huge structure of coats using a sort of eyelet closure – which somewhat reminds me of the eyelet fastening dress by Atelier Versace worn by Selena Gomez at the MTV VMAs 2013 (go to this post), or even the infamous safety pin dress worn by Elizabeth Hurley. Anyway, this structure incorporates the typical black and white with pops of a mustard yellow and red – however, all very plain, and certainly no pattern.
Next we move to the black and white digi-print on outfits. A complete opposite to the colour/style story just previously seen. We next move onto what I'd class as the evening-wear of the collection – black, gold sparkly long gowns among maxi skirts, cropped, structured tops using metallic silvers, rose gold among others. This is a very forward thought collection, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of these gowns were present in the upcoming Red Carpet events soon.
