Presented as a New York Fashion Week Presentation.
As we're all getting slowly excited for the coming of our J.Crew flagship store in London's Regent Street, I had to look at this presentation to see what would be in store for us next season.
These looks are great because they are real. They predominantly show “casual chic”, presenting outfits that real women could actually wear – whether to work, to head out, or a day off. It's nice to see these ensembles still look as luxurious as the next designers, but these looks are completely accessible to its audience straight from the presentation, as opposed to being altered to ensure each is actually wearable.
There is a mix of bold prints, stripes, neutral whites and beige mixed with bold navy, orange, denim and floral designs (esp on trousers). Even a rose gold clutch (and having recently bought a Cambridge Satchel, I'm a huge fan of the rose gold colour). Being a favourite brand of the likes of Glamour UK's Editor, Jo Elvin – whose career and opinion I take very highly), I can totally see why she'd see this as a very “go to” brand.
With 30 looks to complete the collection, here are some of my chosen ones:
