The likes of Charlotte Olympia created beautifully decorated clear rectangular perspex bags with interchangeable patterned inserts to seal valuables, while Zara and Forever 21 created their own takes on the trend; Zara producing the clutches in coloured perspex, while Forever 21 showcasing clear perspex with gold chain and detailing.
For the current Autumn/Winter season, Lulu Guinness has jumped on this bandwagon to create a couple of extra perspex lips clutches – only this time in transparent pink and yellow. That’s right, her signature clutch bag has had a make over and Lulu has joined the gang who loved to show their insides outside.
Only available at Selfridges, these perspex, transparent lips clutches are available for the slightly pricey cost of £245 each. Although, they certainly are a definite conversation starter for anyone who accessorises and brightens their looks with these babies:
