So November has started and the weather is seriously turning. Longer nights, shorter days and colder, wetter weather. *Que sarcastic tone* Great for those fashionistas who just want to dress to impress without the Michelin Man style of layering. And shoes? Well, I’m sure we’ve all had those instances where our shoes have soaked through, or we’ve worn cute little pumps and *sigh* the downpours of rain start coming. Time to invest in some boots.

Clarks have been around for years and especially recently have showcased some of their best shoes and boots they’ve ever sold yet. That’s right, before they were considered the ‘sensible shoe brand’, but nowadays they’ve really stepped up their game and are storming the high street with their fashion conscious styles to suit even a younger generation. Plus they’re comfy too!

Here is a selection of the best ankle boots Clarks has to offer for this winter season:

Next: For the girl who lives in her shoes

Next: For the girl who lives in her shoes by krystal-scanlon

I have absolutely LOVED Next for some time now, and the reason is – they sell COMFORTABLE shoes. That's right, even for the likes of me who's had several ankle injuries (and believe me when I say each was one hell of a story!), Next makes walking in heels FUN again.

Now while the winter is drawing close and that usually puts a downer on most things, a girl still needs a nice selection of party shoes for the festive season – and trust me when I say it's only round the corner!

The above are my personal faves from Next, all catering for day-to-night affairs from the office to the party. Not to mention, they're all between 2-3 inches and thick ankle straps or thick heels/wedges so us ladies with weaker ankles (*sigh*) won't have to worry about toppling over with our skirts up round by our waists as we try to save ourselves from hitting the ground with a bang. These shoes are I.D.E.A.L.

Clockwise from the top L-R:

Black wide strap pointed shoes, £28

Black band city sandal, £28

Two-part point court shoes, £28

Leopard wedges, £48

Elastic cuff pointed shoes, £28

Navy square toe court shoes, £45

Leopard band city sandal, £28

Nude patent low wedges, £28

ALL-IN-ONE – ALL-IN-ONEder (wonder) geddit? Thought so.

Anyway, So the winter months are drawing closer, the nights are getting longer and the weather's getting colder. I've always stood by my granny-attitude that in winter, it's kinda OKAY to look a little like the Michelin man in order to keep warm. Don't get me wrong, I hate the fact that I usually wear so many layers it takes me about 15 minutes to get everything on and off every time I leave or enter a building. But I'd rather be toasty than catching my death from freezing. (Being so pale skinned, my next shade of winter colour goes from white… to blue. Great for cartoons, not so great to stay alive).

Onesies or “all-in-ones” are back with a vengeance this year, and there are even more options available for adults. Ive usually been pretty “on the fence” when it comes to these, usually because I can't understand why grown ups would want to look like babies in a one piece. However that is until I saw these three beauties by high street retailer, Next.

These actually look really modern and wearable (unlike the image I have in my mind of an actual baby's onesie).

The three women's onesies above include a leopard print all-in-one with a faux fur hood, a pink Fairisle print (or as I refer to it, the Christmassy print) all-in-one, and a varsity jacket style all-in-one. I've chosen these three in particular because they all comprise of my favourite styles. In my view, you can never have too much leopard or pink, and I just love the varsity style jacket design overall. It's just a bonus that this one includes some pink detail. All are so reasonably priced too!
